Many of us have the image of human slavery taking place in other parts of the world. However, it is happening in our own country AND is a significant industry right here in Minnesota and in your community.
Human Slavery has been identified as such a global issue that Rotary International has identified this as one of the next global initiatives to solve as we get closer to celebrating the end of polio.
To help us understand our role in this epidemic, Clare Lillis, the Co-chair of District 5960 Human Trafficking Task Force, presented us with information and statistics to give us a better understanding of how we can work together to bring about education on Human Trafficking in our communities.
