(SAINT PAUL, MN) – Longtime ABC 5 (KSTP) meteorologist Dave Dahl will return as the guest celebrity for the Rotary Club of North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale’s 19th Annual Sporting Clay Shoot Fundraiser, it has been announced today.
The 19th Annual Sporting Clay Shoot Fundraiser will be held at Wild Wings of Oneka in Hugo, Minnesota, on September 13 starting at 11 a.m.
Says Noemi Treviño, President of the North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale Rotary Club: “We raise funds through our events to help us achieve our goals. The annual clay shoot allows us to support local projects and advance rotaries’ global humanitarian efforts. Dave’s appearance at our event is a testimonial to his wonderful support of Rotary and its missions.”
The event will feature wonderful food and fellowship, and of course the main event, a sporting clay shoot.
Dahl will meet all of the event’s participants and take pictures with the teams and their participants.
Additionally, as in past years, there will be a silent auction and a live auction with 100% of proceeds from the entire day donated to upcoming Rotary projects.
The Rotary Club is dedicated to six key areas of focus: building international relationships, improving lives, creating a better world, supporting our peace efforts and ending polio forever, supporting education, growing local economies, saving mothers and children, promoting peace, providing clean water and sanitation, and fighting disease.
